Inland Empire

I absolutely LOVED this movie.

I have no idea what it is about.

Lynch employs his trademark -- using film like paint, where he brushes bold and startling strokes and colors of character and dialog and the end result is a gorgeous, engrossing, bizarre....thing. You can expect stories within stories within stories and stream of consciousness as "plot line" (read: "plot Möbius strip") and dual and triple personalities.

Themes of family and folklore and escapes and trust are blended with scenes of rabbit outfits and Polish gypsies. Huh.

Three hours. Pure Lynch.
